 Julia Elizabeth (Palmer) Partone, age 94, of, Westchester, PA formerly of Hackettstown, NJ died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA.  Julia was born November 14, 1921 in Andover Township, NJ. She is the daughter of the late John Edward and Margaret E. (Wunder) Palmer.  In addition to her parents Julia is preceded in death by her siblings; George, Courtland, John, Ray and Peg.

Julia graduated Hackettstown High School 1941, worked at Picatinny Arsenal before moving to NYC and worked at the Chartered Bank until her marriage to James Flaherty. Left work to raise her two children James and Deborah.

After the death of her husband, married John Partone and later returned to work in the alumni office of Centenary College. They retired to Southampton NJ and later Wellington, West Chester PA where she died August 24, 2016.

She leaves behind devoted children; James and wife Barbara and Deborah and husband Gerald, her loving grandchildren; Heather and husband Michael, James, and Melissa, a great grandson: Jack and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 11:30 am on Monday, August 29 at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following the mass.

Visitation will be Monday, August 29 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

Dear Deb and Jim and Families; Words cannot explain the loss I feel now. I love you and have been praying for you since I found out. I cannot find a way to be there for Aunt Judys service. Please know that I have tried. Know that my heart is with you. I will miss Aunt Judy terrible. God bless you all, I love you very much. Judy Palmer
