Delores Dunn, 95, of Hackettstown, NJ, died at her home on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Born in Slatington, PA on July 15, 1917 to the late Harry and Mary (Fairchild) Foreman.
Delores lived in Hackettstown, NJ for 15 years coming from Parsippany. Delores was a Registered Nurse, and received her nursing degree from St. Luke's Nursing School, Bethlehem, PA. She was employed at the Troy Hills Nursing Home, Parsippany, NJ as a Nursing Supervisor. She proudly served in the United States Army and was a Captain, serving as an Army Nurse. She served in Europe During WW II.
Her late sister, Adele Foreman was also an Army Nurse and was a POW in the Philippines during WW II.
Delores is survived by a son, Paul Dunn, Petersburg, PA; two daughters, Dede & husband Steve Sidle, Hackettstown, NJ and Paula & husband Michael Holmes, Hackettstown, NJ; 6 grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Cunningham, Erica (Brad) Risboskin, Laura Steckl, Jesse (Jane) Washkau, Tyler (Kelsey) Dunn and Christian Sidle; 4 great grandchildren, Piper, Ezra, Trenton and Tyson.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.

You were the best neighbor any one could ask for. We loved talking to you and seeing you poke your head out the door to say hello in the morning. We will miss you and you will always have a place in our hearts. We send prayers and love to your family.

You have my deepest sympathy. Delores will be sadly missed by me and all of the staff of Greenview Gardens. I loved all her stories. She is a remarkable person whom I will not forget. Heaven holds a place for Delores. Again, my sympathy to all of you. She will always be remembered. God Bless you all during your sorrow.
