Dorothy Rowe, age 92, of Hackettstown died Monday, December 1, 2014 at home.  Dorothy was born November 23, 1922 in Scranton, PA. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Gammon) Houser. 

She was employed by Elastimold, Hackettstown, NJ as a Quality Control Inspector. Dorothy was an avid reader and loved to cook.

She is survived by her 3 sons; C. Michael "Mike" Rowe and wife Joan, Glenn Rowe and wife Allison, Robert Rowe and companion Wendy Leach, 2 sisters; Ruth Zmuida and Elizabeth Steneken and husband Jerry, 4 grandchildren; Stephanie, Lisa, Brad and Marc, 5 great grandchildren; Emily, Will, Ben, Holly and Charlie

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ with Rev. Birda Ferguson officiating.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following services.

Visitation hours will be Friday, December 5, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Hi this is Sharon, Joan's daughter. I just read Aunt Dot's obituary today. Prayers be with the family. she was one of my favorite aunts. I can still remember her and Uncle Buddy sitting around the kitchen table cracking jokes and having a great time. She will be greatly missed.
