Additional Information: Mr. Conway was born and raised in the Northeastern area of the United States but throughout his life he held a desire to live in the Southwest. Upon his retirement in 1994 he was able to fulfill his dream to fully explore the colorful history, the varied ethnic cultures and rare natural beauty of New Mexico. He made his home in Las Cruces and conveyed the inspiration found in Southern New Mexico to paper and canvas via watercolor and acrylics. He was involved in many art shows and won many awards; when not painting Robert absorbed all he could through avid reading and exploring the wonder of the area. He loved to travel was an avid reader of history books; he was also a graduate of Boonton High School, Boonton, NJ
