Helen Louise Vanderbilt, 93 , died  08/03/07 in  HospiceCare in Madison, Wisconsin.  Helen lived in  Heath Village, Washington Township (Morris Co.) before moving to Madison, WI to be closer to her daughter and grandaughters. Previously, she lived in Hackettstown and Mountain Lakes, NJ and was born in Bayonne, NJ and grew up in Staten Island. on 05/08/14.

Occupation: After receiving her teaching degree, she taught in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ many years during WW II; she later was employed by the Scotch Plains Board of Education where she taught her favorite Fourth Grade.

Additional Information:  She was an active volunteer in Mountain Lakes, NJ where she and her husband lived in the early 1970's. She was a volunteer at Riverside Hospital in Boonton and delivered Meals on Wheels with her husband. She enjoyed the Book Club, Town Hall of Morris, Garden Club of Mountain Lakes and the Mountain Lakes Womens's Club. She was made an Honorary Member of the Garden Club of Mountain Lakes and the Mountain Lakes Women's Club, which pleased her greatly. She was a member of the Community Church of Mountain Lakes where she was active in the Scccp Program and arranging Alter flowers.

Services: Thursday, August 9, 2007, 11:00 AM- Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel, Chester, NJ
