Occupation: She was last employed as a Dental Assistant for Dr. George Michell D.D.S. of Hackettstown, N.J. retiring many years ago. Prior to that she had worked many yrs in the medical field in Morristown, N.J.

Additional Information: Ruth attended Hackettstown High School and Graduated from the Medical & Assistants Institute of Newark N.J. She was a member of the Schooley's Mtn. Pres. Church, Washington Twp. Morris County, N.J. where she served as an Elder. She also was Secretary of the United Presbyterian Woman Assoc. and taught Sunday School for many yrs. at the Church. She served as the Church Organist since 1958. Also, she served as Organist of The House of the Good Shepherd Nursing Facility of Hackettstown, N.J. since 1977. She served as an accompanist for the former Brookfield Singers during all their Rehersals and Concerts. In 1930, Ruth joined the Netcong Band and became the first woman player as well as Assistant Director. Member of the All-Girl Penn-Jersey Band. She was a member of the original Hackettstown Band. She served as an accompanist to several Soloist on various radio stations in N.J. & Pa.
