Occupation: President and owner of Area Lighting Research, Inc., Independence Township, NJ
Veteran Info: Appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point (1957-1961). After graduation, he began a military career, traveling to Monterey Ca. to attend the Defense Language Institute, followed by service in Texas, Missouri and Germany. His Military Intelligence led him to work on classified assignments and he was a communications speciallist and Airborne qualified. He attained the rank of Captain when he left the service in 1967.
Additional Information: Graduate of New Castle High School; attended Carnegie Melon Technical Institute;Member of St. Mary's Church; Served on the Board of Directors for Skylands Community Bank, West Point Association of Graduates, Hackettstown Planning Board of Adjustments and the Panther Valley Golf and Country Club. He served as Campaign Director for Congressman James Courter; served as Executive Director for the Reagan/Bush Presidential Campaign in NJ, managing all facets of the 1984 re-election campaign. He was appointed by President Reagan to serve on the Christopher Columbus Commission in 1992 to plan and execute the celebratiion surrounding the 500th anniversary. Dan loved to watch the sunrise from his maple tree shaded patio in Hackettstown or the deck of his residence in Sanibel Island, FL.

Services: Mass on Friday, June 9, 2006, 9:30 AM - St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, 301 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Please meet at the church.
