Additional Information: Jim was a member of the United Church of Christ, Strausstown, PA; he was a member for 65 years of the masonic lodges of Hackettstown & Budd Lake, N.J. since 1947; he served as Master of his Lodge in 1981; he served as Masonic Junior Grand Steward of the state of NJ from 1984-1985; he was a Past President of the Hospital Service Unit for the Shriners Organization; Treasurer of Golden Eagles AASR for 10 years; Jim made more than 84 trips to Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia, escorting children in need of treatment; he was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling and watching college football; Jim was a 1943 graduate of Washington High School, Washington, NJ and received an AA Degree in accounting from the Churchman's Business College, Easton, PA in 1948.
Visitation: Tuesday,August 9, 2011, 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Masonic Services will be announced when verified.
