Veteran Info: He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army, 1942-1945, with an Honorable Discharge, participated in the "D" Day Omaha Beach Landing, Battle of the Bulge and also fought in Africa and Sicily.
Additional Information: He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In 1969 he won 1st place in Sportsfield Magazine for the Largest Brown Trout in the U.S.A. in Mountain Lake, NJ; he also won 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place in the Ledgewood Outdoorsmen Statewid Brown Trout Fishing Contest in 1970.
