Dorothy M. Schneider, 86 , died  May 31, 2011 in  Hackettstown Regional Hospital, Hackettstown, NJ.  Dorothy lived in  Hackettstown, NJ for the past 52 years, prior to that she resided in Denville, NJ, as a child she grew up in Caldwell, NJ and was born in Atlanta, GA on December 31, 1924.

Dorothy is also survived by her great friend and caregiver Ellie

Occupation: Dorothy was a Registered Nurse at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center and worked most of her career at Newton Hospital, Newton, NJ in the Critical Care/Coronary Care Unit.

Additional Information:  Dorothy graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Mountainside School of Nursing, Glen Ridge, NJ. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, gardening and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Mountainside Nurses Association of Mountainside and the Hackettstown Senior Center, Hackettstown. Most of all Dorothy loved her family and spending as much time possible with them.
