Occupation: Margaret was employed by the Independence Twp. Board of Education as an elementary school teacher at Central School, Great Meadows, NJ until her retirement in 1983. Previously, she taught at Sacred Heart Elementary School, Bronx, NY. She also was employed as director of the New York City Council, Campfire Girls U.S.A. from 1942-1947. She also was a substitute elementary school teacher in Saratoga Springs, NY and Warren County, NJ school systems. Following her retirement, she volunteered as a resource room teacher at St. Mary's Elementary School.

Additional Information: Member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, Hackettstown, NJ; Graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School, Bronx, NY and Hunter College, NY, NY where she was awarded a B.S. degree in elementary education in 1938. She was a former member of the NJ and National Education Associations. She also sang in the parish choir for many years and was a member of the Rosary Society and the Holy Name Society as well as the St. Mary's School Parent-Teachers Association.
