She attended secretarial school in New York City and then went to work in the comic book industry. She loved gardening, china painting, swimming and reading. Jean and her husband retired to Port Charlotte, FL. for several years. Jean got great pleasure relaxing during the summers at their home at Lake Pleasant, NY.
