Angelo  Curcio, Jr., 66 , died  09/01/05 in  Merry Heart Health Care Center, Succasunna, NJ.  Angelo lived in  Panther Valley (Allamuchy Township) NJ since 1992 coming from Randolph Township, NJ, and previously lived in Denville, NJ and was born in Easton, PA. on 03/15/39.

Occupation: Mr. Curcio became an 8th grade Social Studies Teacher at the Dennis B. O'Brien School, Rockaway Township, NJ; transferred to (old) Mt. Hope School as Teaching Principal, moved to C.A. Dwyer School as Assistant Principal, ultimately moved to Dennis B. O'Brien as Principal where he finished his career, retiring in June 1992.

Veteran Info: Served in the US Army, 1960 to 1963, attended the U.S. Army Language School, Monterey, CA, learned to read, write and speak Chinese, ultimtely posted to Okinawa with Security Services.

Additional Information:  Angelo graduated from Easton High School (PA) in 1956. Angelo received his B.A. in Economics in 1960 from Lafayette College and was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity; received his Masters in Education in 1965 from Lehigh University. Angelo was first and foremost a family oriented person. He was also a good and true friend to the many people he interacted with during his career and beyond. He had courageously battled brain cancer since March, 2004. Most recently he had attended his 45th reunion at Lafayette College and was looking forward to his 50th reunion at Easton High School. In 1954 he was cited as Outstanding Player in the Easton-Phillipsburg Thanksgiving Day Football Game, and continued his athletic career as a member of the varsity football team in college including Lafayette's memorable 28-6 victory over Lehigh in his last game in 1959.
