Tim,Jeff,Doug and family. I'm sorry for your loss. Dorth was my cousin and I spent a lot of time at her house when we were young. I have a lot of good memories of us growing up. Over the past few years we had numerous conversations about our grandchildren, shared old family photos and information about our family history. She was a wonderful kind person and will be missed by everyone that knew her.

Dear Jeff & Karen and Family, I just learned of your mother's passing and wanted to extend my sincere sympathy. My most vivid memory of her is that of a wonderful grandmother who wanted to share her sewing talents with the grandchildren. This was before I had grandchildren of my own and it struck me that when the time came, that was how I wanted to be, someone completely involved in my grandchildrens' lives. It was obviously a great joy for her and I'm sure she will be missed dearly by her children and their children.

As a former neighbor of Dorothea I have fond memories of her. We often had long chats in the driveway. She always talked about her grandchildren as she was soooo fond of all of them. We had some good times going to Centenary College to see the plays and other programs they offered. I remember her as a very kind lady. She was always ready to help me when she thought I needed it. I'm so sorry for the loss her family is feeling at this time. I'm also sorry I can not be at the services as I am currently visiting my son and his family in N.C. I will always remember Dorothea as a very nice friend. Fondly Jane Ellis
