Sandra L. Manno, age 85, of Hackettstown died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Sandra was born September 19, 1927 in Hackettstown, N.J.. She is the daughter of the late Harry E. and Gertrude (Shires) Cudney. She was predeceased by her husband, Fortunato "Ben” Manno in 1977.

Sandra graduated from Hackettstown High School, class of 1945. She worked at Centenary College for over 30 years in many different capacities. In the 1980's the Centenary College yearbook, "The Hack" was dedicated to her for her outstanding service and dedication to the college. Sandra was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain parish and St. Mary's Church of the Assumption. Sandra was a member of several senior groups over the years including Independence and Hope. She was an avid Yankee and Giants fan. Her greatest joy came in spending time with her family, attending their events and watching them grow.

She is survived by her children James Manno and wife Diane, Ann Greszczak and husband Paul, Christine Manno and husband Michael and Michael Manno and wife Joann. She also has six grandchildren, grandson & wife, John & Amy McConnell; grandaughter & her husband, Dawn & Michael Simonetta; Grandaughter , Bethany Manno; Grandaughter , Diane (Dee Dee) Manno; grandaughters, Teri And Lori Greszczak; 7 Great Grandchildren, John, Moira, Jared, Michael, Benjamin, Ty & Madison; 2 Nieces, Sharon Orange and Judith Dodler

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Burial will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ following the Mass.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to NJ Special Olympics in honor of her grandaughter, Diane "Dee Dee"; the Kidney Foundation in honor of her grandaughter Bethany or a charity of your choice.
