I knew Walter for his humble and gracious manner. He personally researched and taught me about his and my grandparents homeland of Poland while I visited at the HOTGS. His reminiscing of the past and spoken word to my mother, Helen, while she was a resident, was both comforting and familiar to her. In turn, it provided such recognition of days gone by. Walter was often seen reading or just relaxing in easy or rocking chairs enjoying the world for what it had to offer. What if we all could be a little like him, to be proud of our heritage and pass on that legacy and enjoy life as he did, what a person we could become? Please accept my deepest condolences in the passing of this fine gentleman.
Most Sincerely, Mary Keiling
