Virginia A. Wicki, 87, of Morristown, NJ died on October 26, 2013 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. Born in Plainfield, NJ on November 12, 1925 to the late Stanley and Evelyn (Zych) Hanzel.  She was predeceased by her husband, the late Lewis "Sparks" Wicki. 

Virginia lived in Florida for 20 years and returned to Great Meadows, NJ where she lived  before moving to Morristown, NJ.  She was employed in the cafeteria of the Independence Elementary School in Great Meadows, NJ. Virginia graduated from Hackettstown High School.

She is survived by five children, David Wicki, Spotswood, NJ; Thomas Wicki, Point Pleasant, NJ; Susanne Kilcullen, Morristown, NJ; JoAnn Elliott, Saratoga, NY; Diane Carkhuff, Chester, NJ; one sister, Florence Rafalko,  Great Meadows, NJ, one uncle Raymond Hanzel, Plainfield, NJ, seven grandchildren, Laura, David, Lewis, Matt, Ryan, Emily and Will; four great grandchildren, Trevor, Phoebe,Cassidy and Kala.

A visitation will be held on  Saturday, November 23, 2013, 10:00 to 11:00am. Memorial Service to follow at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

Interment will follow at the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ after services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, C/O Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07860.

Tom, so sorry to hear about your mom, please accept my deepest sympathy to you and all your family. It was always nice to see her in the cafeteria, it made lunch seem like home. Take care and best to all, Dale.
