     Mildred A. Beatty, 93, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Born in Hackettstown, Mildred was the daughter of the late Everitt & Marjorie Snook Parr.

     Mildred has lived in the Hackettstown area most of her adult life having grown up in Long Valley, NJ. Mrs. Beatty attended the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown; Long time member of the Eastern Star; Past president of the Hackettstown Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and was a former Brownie leader in Hackettstown. Mildred learned to play golf in her 50’s and had many years of fun playing with friends and family. Lastly, she was a member of the M & M’s Retiree Club in Hackettstown.

     Mrs. Beatty is survived by two daughters; Patricia Butts and her husband, James of Hackettstown & Eileen Holder and her husband, Thomas of East Stroudsburg, PA. Four loving grandchildren; Kelly, Craig, Tara & Shane. She also has four great grandchildren; Malachy, Cormac, Henry & Arthur. Her loving husband, William H. Beatty passed away in 1999.

    Viewing hours will be on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2:00 – 5:00pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840.

     The funeral service will take place on Monday, 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ.

aunt Millie, it's been many years since I've seen you, but know there is always a place for you in my heart. Christmas at your house as a kid was what I always looked forward too the most. the extravagant dinners, the men watching football, all us cousins playing outside, memories forever in my heart. please give gram a kiss for me... until we meet again!

Dear Pat and Eileen, So sorry to see of your mother's passing, I know you will miss her but she is in GOD'S house now. I have fond memories of brownies and girl scouts and both of you growing up with Gail. My deepest sympathy to all of your family Peg McConnell (Gail's Mom)

We are saddened to hear of Mildred's passing. She was a wonderful woman who treated us as more than friends, she treated us as family. May your memories of her life sustain you through this difficult time.
