Sarah was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed her time with her loving family and friends but especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church, Long Valley, NJ and the 50+ Club, Chester, NJ. Sarah was an avid reader, liked crossword puzzles and loved to watch sporting events, specifically basketball.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Marcy and husband Eric, her 2 sons, Daniel Murray and wife Betsy, Dennis Murray, her son In law, Michael Bononno, 2 sisters, June Tuohy, Bernadette Stoebling and husband Frank, sister in law, Alec Waddleton, sister in law, Patricia and husband Bob Farrell, sister in law Margaret and husband Bruce Renz, 9 Grandchildren; Jessica Murray, Brett Bononno, Brent Murray, Alexa Murray, Eric Marcy, Jr., Grace Bononno, Taegan Murray, Kaiya Murray and Maggie Murray.
Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 on Friday January 5, 2018 from 2-6 pm. Services will be held at 5:15 pm also at the funeral home on Friday.
Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery at a later date.
