Gerry, Dale, Jeremy, Justin, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, Josh had a very large and very loving family. I'm sure he knew how blessed he was because the few times that I was in his company, he was with family.....laughing, happy, and having a great time. There are no words to describe the loss, but stay strong, have faith, and lean on each other. May God bless you and hold you close.

My heart goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Adickes, Jeremy, and Justin. The Adickes family were like my own family growing up as neighbors. Josh was one of my best friends in our childhood. I'll always cherish the times I had with Josh. He, Jeremy, and I were inseparable. Josh always had the biggest smile on his face and made everyone around him happy. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. I wish I was able to make it back to give you all a hug. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Adickes family. I worked with Josh as a seasonal in 2011 and rode with him many nights; Josh was not only an outstanding police officer, but an amazing person as well. I always looked forward to riding with Josh because we never stopped laughing all night, whether it was about something that happened on a call or the "rock n roll keyboard" josh always made a long night better.
