To the entire Voorhees family, We of us have lost a beautiful man. He was dedicated to his family, his work and his faith and all of us will miss him in many ways. For me, he was the guy who sang the bass parts and was the cement that held on to the bass harmony; not easy to do with so few in the choir. John's house was always the place for the choir to celebrate and have some laughs. His favorite contribution was a generous shrimp platter. We missed John when he moved to NY and hope to see him when he returned to Hackettstown. We know that John is singing with the angels and keeping the basses on tune. Save me a space in the alto section.

I'm so sorry for your loss. While I haven's seen John in a number of years we were good friends back in the 1970's and 1980's. I have so many good memories and especially recall his kindness and wonderful sense of humor.
