Patricia E. Daly, age 86, of Hackettstown died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at home. Patricia was born March 10, 1929 in Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Walsh) Foster. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Daly in 2004. She was employed by St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption as a Parish Catechetical Leader. Patricia was the Director of Religious Education for 29 years, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW both of Hackettstown, NJ. She was a devoted and loving mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter; Ann Kathryn Daly, 1 sister; Helen Maguire, 1 brother In Law; Peter Daly, 2 sisters in law; Grace Sullivan and Mary Ryan, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 1 at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, June 30 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

So sorry for your loss, Ann-Kathryn. Your Mom was a very special person and gave so much of herself to others. She has now met her Savior face-to-face and he has said to her, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Be at peace.

It is a testimate to her that she decided to go to heaven on a Sunday, the day the Lord set aside to find rest. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief. Ann Kathryn, the beautiful memories of your mom will carry you thru the days ahead. She was a wonderful lady. I am honored that she shared the gift of her friendship with my family.
