Richard  Canning
Died: Mar 28, 2017
 Richard Canning of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. From 1974-1979 he was the owner/operator of the Byram Shell Service Center in Stanhope, NJ, a business his father and he began in 1972.  

From 1979-1986 he served in the United States Army as a Military Police Investigator and German Linguist.  After military service, he was a Security Manager for several Fortune 100 corporations in northern New Jersey and later was an independent Security Consultant.  From 1998-2006, he was a volunteer tutor with the Adult Literacy Center of the Lehigh Valley.  

He is survived by Teresa J. Roe of Bethlehem, PA, his longtime companion. He is also survived by his sister Maureen Canning DeLaRoche of Budd Lake, NJ and her family and his brother Bernard Canning of Long Valley, NJ and his family.
