So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing at such a young age. I'd lost touch with the family after moving out of Hackettstown. We grew up together when my mother babysat for Timmy, Bobby & Lauri for many years. I hope life was happy and satisfying. Wish I'd known sooner so I could have been at the service to say my goodbye. You'll all be in my thoughts and prayers.

A nicer fellow I never met. I had the pleasure of being his next door neighbor. He worked very hard professionally and around the home. I never heard him utter a complaint or a disparaging remark. He was a better neighbor to me than I to him. My condolences to you Joan, Michele and Nicole...he really was a remarkable man. Please ask me for any assistance you may need....I would be honored to help in his memory.

So sorry and shocked to hear of Bobby's passing. My sympathies to his family and friends. Although I haven't seen him since Moravian, I often come across an old picture of Bobby, Tim, Jimmy Dana, and myself from spring break in Florida around 1985. It is a photo of the four of us "posing" for the camera. It always seems to put a smile on my face, make me laugh, and remember what a great guy he was. It takes on such a prudent and special meaning now. Gone too soon but never forgotten, Rest in Peace.

From the Poem: To an Athlete Dying Young The time you won your town the race We chaired you through the market-place; Man and boy stood cheering by, And home we brought you shoulder-high. Bob was a person who put his family, co-workers, friends and country first before himself.

It was a pleasure knowing Bob. Growing up as your neighbor, Bob has always been a polite and kind hearted man. I will always fondly remember during the fall as a little girl playing in the leaves while Joan and Bob tried to rake them. It might not seem to special a memory, but I will always remember it fondly.
