Elsie May Ayres, age 99, of Hackettstown died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at home in Hackettstown. Elsie was born August 18, 1921 in Bristol, England. She is the daughter of the late James and Jessie Edwards. She was predeceased by her husband, Horace Ayres in 1997.

She was employed by Elizabeth Undergarments, Hackettstown, NJ as a Seamstress.

She is survived by her two sons: John Ayres and Brian Ayres.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 am on Friday, February 12 at Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown, N.J.

Calling hours will be Friday, February 12 from 10 am – 11 am at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ

Donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in lieu of flowers.
