Gerard Semhon, 84,formerly of of Hackettstown and Whitehouse Station, NJ died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Regency Grand Nursing Home of Dover, NJ. Gerard was born April 4, 1936 in Cairo Egypt. He is the son of the late Yedid and Marie (Trokay) Semhon. As a young man his family emigrated to the United States. Gerard spent most of his life in New York City
Before retiring Gerard was the president of Beauty Concepts, a consulting firm for the beauty industry in New York City
Gerard was a lifelong cat lover and had many cats throughout his life, he still talked of how he missed his last two cats, Gracie and Louie
He is survived by a son, Paul Semhon and his partner Joanna Forbes, a daughter Roxane Dayton, a sister Marie-Joseph Simhom. And a granddaughter Gwendolyn Dayton.

Although it has been more than a year since your loss, I just learned of your father’s passing. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to you and your family.
I was a regional manager with Parlux and, of course, over time, lost touch but I have such great memories of our last meeting.
Your father’s graciousness was a gift to everyone he came in contact with. I have no doubt that he remains very close-by to all of you as the beautiful spirit that he always has been.
