Lykins, Randall Dewayne October 1, 1946 - December 29, 2022

Randall (“Randy”) Dewayne Lykins, age 76, died peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Karen Ann Quinlan of Fredon, NJ with family by his side.  Randy was born on October 1, 1946 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Arthur and Blanche (Pope) Lykins but spent most of his formative years in Muncie, Indiana where he graduated from Southside High School’s class of 1964. Randy was predeceased by his beloved wife Sharon of 40 years in April 2017.

Randy was a natural salesman and entrepreneur who always gave 100 percent in all aspects of his life. After high school, he worked in sales for Grants Department Stores until 1975, followed by Goody Products, Inc. based out of Chicago. Shortly thereafter, Randy was promoted to Goody’s main office in New Jersey to become a regional sales manager. After various roles of increasing responsibility, he ended his tenure at Goody in 1994 as Director of Sales. Following this career, he subsequently worked in sales for Goldwell Hair Products in addition to also earning his real estate license.  Randy’s business sense and Sharon’s gregarious personality made them naturals as proprietors of Village Greeting Cards in Hopatcong, New Jersey, owners/innkeepers of the Bridge Street House Bed and Breakfast in Lambertville, New Jersey and owners of a boutique store Azzurra in New Hope,Pennsylvania.

Randy and Sharon raised three children in their blended family: Pamela Benson of Denville, New Jersey married to Matthew, Dawn Ryder of Hackettstown, New Jersey and Philip Stanton of Roseto, Pennsylvania. They shared four loving grandchildren: Samantha Bradley (Solano-Stanton), Luke Luzzi, Ian Ryder and Timothy Ryder.

Randy was blessed with a terrific sense of humor. His children and grandchildren will fondly remember many “Poppy sayings” that will forever make them smile and bring them comfort.

Randy was very active in the Panther Valley Community. He enjoyed golfing, Friday night dinners with his friends and spending time with his family.
