To the Levens family, Ed, , Ed Sr. Scott and grandchildren,

We are your neighbors, Joe and Teresa Pannia, we want to send our deepest condolences to you and your family. Mary was such a great neighbor and a great person, we met just a few months after we moved our family in town in 1985 , just around the corner, at 102 Ferris Place.

On multiple occasions we talked while shopping at the local Kmart mall, Rockaway Sales store and on the soccer field during Ed’s soccer games.

Mary’s experience in the healthcare profession helped us through all the years when asked for Hospital services and Pediatrician contact information she was always there for us. At one point when she learned that I was a former soccer player, she encouraged me to attend meetings and go out every weekend to support the kids playing for the Hackettstown Soccer association, in fact after a few meetings I found myself coaching her son Ed Jr, who was a very skillful midfielder player.

Teresa and I always enjoyed seeing Mary at the field, dropping off or picking up Ed for soccer practices . We also enjoyed the many chats we had while walking by Pleasant View Road after dinner, while she was taking care of the front yard’s beautiful flowers. May she rest in peace. God bless you and all your family. Our Love, Joe and Teresa Pannia, 102 Ferris Place, Hackettstown.

“Mary my dear friend”! I met Mary young when she was supervisor at HMC. She was the reason I became a XRay Tech! She hired me wherever she went! I loved her like a Mom! I never meant anyone who devoted herself to her family as much as she did!

I am so sorry to hear about Mary. She was always so kind and generous to us. I will always remember all our time together as a child. I will miss seeing her around time. I feel so terrible I just found out. I would have been at her viewing to see you all and pay my respects. Mary is now an angel in heaven looking over you all.
