April 28, 2023 at 2:01 pmMy Uncle Gene, words can’t express how I’m feeling right now…but know that I always confided in you and you guided me through some of the best and worst times…you were always there for me, guiding me through not only being a fireman and dealing with the firehouse life, but life lessons and great talks in general, being like a second Dad to me when I needed you most especially when Dad passed away. You’re with him again, and that makes me feel pretty damn good. I’ll keep fighting the fight and flame in both your honor. Love you Uncle Gene
