Coletta, Anthony R. December 23, 1950 - August 18, 2023

Anthony Robert Coletta, lifelong business owner of Scenic Paving, and family man, passed away Friday August 18, 2023 in Hackettstown, NJ. He was 72.

“Bob” to those who knew him was born December 23, 1950 in Elizabeth, NJ. He spent his childhood and teenage years growing up and attending school in New Providence.

He briefly went into business with his Uncle Allen, before branching off on his own.  He, his wife Patricia and young son Ross moved to Long Valley.  There he started his paving business, Scenic Paving, that he would eventually share with his son. A few years later they welcomed their second child, their daughter Brooke.

His love for the outdoors was visible through the years. From motorcycles, snowmobiles, and eventually his forever love…. Alaska.

Anthony “Bob” is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Coletta. His son Ross and wife Lauren. His daughter Brooke. And his three beautiful grandchildren, that he loved beyond words, Kyle, Kendra, and Anthony.
