Judith A. Iansito, age 83, of Port Murray, NJ died Friday, August 25, 2023 under hospice care. Judie was born March 10, 1940 in Orange, NJ to the late Nathaniel Palmer and the late Mary O’Leary. In addition to her mother, Judith was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and Robert Palmer.
Judie raised her family in Livingston where she was employed by the Board of Education as an Aide for over twenty years before her retirement. Over the years, she enjoyed numerous trips to the casino playing the slot machines always trying to win the jackpot. She loved listening to country music and dancing.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Diane, her devoted son, Jeffrey and wife Megan, and son Joseph, two sisters-in-law, Virginia Palmer and Elaine Palmer, two granddaughters, Kate and Abby Iansito, nephews and nieces: Greg Palmer, Ken and Liz Palmer, Linda and Walter Adenau, Barbara Porecca, Donna and Jerry Murphy.
The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, September 2 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ with Father Tim Dowling officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Green Township following services
Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2023 from 5 – 8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure of North Jersey, 785 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901 in memory of Judith.
