Filomena “Mena” Waugh, age 78 passed away on Friday January 5th, 2024 at Hackettstown Hospital. Mena was born in the Bronx, NY on January 21, 1945 where she lived until she moved to New Jersey.
Mena is survived by her current husband Elly Waugh, with whom she married in 1982. Elly was everything she needed, he selflessly helped Mena raise her two sons as if they were his own. Mena was an executive secretary for many years and retired at age 60.
Mena loved spending time in Atlantic City and looked forward to watching General Hospital every day.
Mena is predeceased by her parents Rose Briganti and Vincent Monti and her brother Sonny. She is survived by her loving children Joseph Naclerio and his wife Christina of Hackettstown and Erik Naclerio and his wife Gina of Randolph, along with three grandchildren Skyler, Samantha and Cory.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday January 11th from 4:00-8:00 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. There will be a private graveside ceremony on Friday, January 12th at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover, NJ.
