Leona D. Kahl ( Ditmars ) passed away Saturday March 16th, 2024 in Hackettstown Hospital with her daughter Christine by her side. She was 85.

Lee – as she was most often called – was born Feb 16th 1939 in Newark NJ. Her family moved to Saxton Falls and she graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1958. After high school she worked for Prudential and eventually Simmonds Precision.  Lee loved the outdoors, her family and her cats.  The beach, fishing, bowling, billiards and crafts were some of her favorite activities.

Lee is survived by her two daughters, Michele Biasi of Hackettstown and Christine Kahl of Allamuchy Township. She was blessed to have two grandchildren, Scott Biasi of Hackettstown and Gina Biasi who passed in 2017.  Lee also has three great grandsons, Hunter, Thomas and Mason whom she loved dearly.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840

Visitation will be held Saturday March 23rd, 2024 from 5pm -8pm with a service at 7:30pm. Cremation will follow.
