Henry Mark Wreszin January 16, 1955 - April 16, 2024

Henry Mark Wreszin, age 69, of Hackettstown died peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Hackettstown, N.J.
Mark was born January 16, 1955 in Summit, NJ. He is the son of the late John A and Audrey (Jensen) Wreszin.  He also joins his deceased brother, Robert Wreszin, as well as his beloved dogs Hobo and Shadow.
He spent his first few years in Berkeley Heights before moving to Basking Ridge where he resided for all of his adult life.  He graduated from vocational high school in 1973 after which he worked in various employment industries – his favorite was operating a printing press.  Mark enjoyed surprising people with his skill at the pool table and backgammon.  Cars, motorcycles and his 1955 Ford Pick-up truck, as well as gardening and yard work, were his main interests.  While a lion was his favored avatar, animals – both wild and domestic – were his fascination.  Walking and talking with people in his neighborhood was a special joy.
Survivors include his sisters Maeva Wreszin and Catherine Rome and her husband Allan Rome; 5 nieces and nephews, Angelique, Michael, Carolyn, Christopher, and Allan Jr; and 4 great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan, Mirielle, Nicholas and Sophia.
The family is planning an informal gathering to celebrate his life.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. For those wishing to leave online condolences please visit, www.cochranfuneral.com

I knew Mark from his visits to Brushs’ Deli, which has since closed down. Mark was fun-loving and such a warm guy, everyone enjoyed his company. I visited him at the assisted living facility in his last years; gave him one of my gourd birdhouses so he could enjoy watching the birds outside his window. He had no regrets. May he rest in peace.
