Elaine Love Silence, age 90, of Hackettstown died Friday, December 13, 2024 at home.  Elaine was born January 14, 1934 in Wallington, NJ to the late Joseph and Anna (Hickswa) Kopec.  In addition to her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard D. Silence, her cherished son, Robert Silence, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Pauline Kopec.

Elaine was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was an avid golfer and loved gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Sperduto and husband Vito, daughter-in-law, Hanna Silence, two grandchildren, Jon Lamb and wife Jackie, Michelle Lamb three great grandchildren, Logan and Lily Lamb, Elliott Sunbury.
