John Johansson, Beloved Dad and Pop- Pop passed away peacefully Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was 95 years old.

John was born May 22, 1929 on Staten Island N.Y. John was an U.S. Army veteran, following his military service John returned home to continue in his family’s footsteps and became a home builder.

Newly wed in 1965 John built a home in Budd Lake N.J. with his wife Joan. John continued in his field and became a Union carpenter until his retirement at age 60.

John is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Lesley and Angelo Masciarelli, granddaughter, Anna Stukes and her husband Brian, grandson, Zach Masciarelli and his great grandson, James Stukes.

John was pre-deceased by his wife Joan who passed away in 2009.

A private ceremony will be held on March 10, 2025 at Union cemetery in Hackettstown,

NJ where John will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife.
