Glynn, James R. “Jimmy” March 16, 1956 - April 20, 2025

James Richard Glynn ‘Jimmy,’ born on March 13, 1956, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, NJ. Jimmy was sent to his eternal home on April 20, 2025, in Independence Township, NJ. He was the beloved son of James and Barbara Glynn.
Jimmy, as he was affectionately known. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jimmy is survived by his loving parents, James and Barbara of Farmville, NC, his sister Sue and husband Dave of Harmony Township, NJ, brother Pete and wife Angie of Farmville, NC. He is also survived by his nephew Christopher Laux and his wife Nicole and their children Aubree, Blake and Hailee of Lehighton, PA and his nieces Ashton Everette and her husband Ken of Ayden, NC, and Ellie Glynn of St. Louis, MO. He also leaves behind an aunt, Jackie Otto who adored him dearly, and a host of cousins who shared in his pleasant spirit. He was predeceased by loving Grandparents, James and Edith Glynn and Richard and Elinor Rau.
After his graduation from Hackettstown High School in 1974, he attended Pennsylvania State University, the Mount Alto Campus where he was going to study Forestry Management and worked for some years at a nursery and then acquired a position at M&M Mars where he worked for 30 years and retired in 2016.
Jimmy had a passion for Tennis and would play every day that he could loving the experience of being outdoors, he loved music and was an avid reader and collected many books.

Although Jimmy’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue.

    I knew Jim from school he was in my sister marylou’s class…he was always friendly always kind…just a great guy…rest in peace my friend
