Clarence Richard (Ric) Henderson, age 91, of Doylestown, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Doylestown Hospital.

Born September 1, 1934, in Roxbury, NJ, Ric was the son of the late Clarence Locey and Virginia (Edsall) Henderson. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Frances (Conover) Henderson, in 2017.

Ric was born in Roxbury and in his early years he lived in Ledgewood, NJ before settling in Hackettstown in 1984. A devoted Catholic, he was a longtime parishioner of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Andover, NJ. He was also a former member of the Allamuchy Senior Club and gave generously of his time volunteering for food and entertainment committees at Pine Run Lakeview in Doylestown.

Professionally, Ric dedicated many years as an Administrator with JCP&L in Morristown, NJ, before retiring. He will be remembered for his commitment to his work, his faith, and his community.

Ric is survived by his daughters, Jan Deihl and her husband Randy, and Mary Burke and her husband Garry; his son, Rick Henderson and his wife Vanessa; and his cherished grandchildren, Derek and Danielle Deihl, and Brianna and Lauren Henderson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows

Ric’s family and friends will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and devotion to those he loved.
