Barbara J. Howering, 92 of Hackettstown died Sunday August 2, 2020 at the House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown.
Born in East Orange she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Loretta (Johnson) Washburn.
Barbara worked as a quality control clerk for Crum and Foster in Morristown before retiring.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Robert in 2009 and a son Charles in 2019.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Robert Howering (Beverly), Bill Howering (Beth), 2 daughters, Patricia Ritchards (John) and Janet Rohan (Tom).
Also her sister Marylou Gill, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A visitation at the church before the the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 8th from 9am until the Mass at 10:30
at St. Jude Catholic Church, Budd Lake, NJ. The Mass will begin at 10:30, with interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
