Lenore Ann Devlin
Cherished Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Lenore was predeceased by her husband, Peter Devlin, spiritual partner, Joseph Van Hassel, her parents, Nora and Francis Whelahan and her younger brother, Thomas Whelahan.
Dearest Lenore is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Burd-Kizun and husband Phil of Hackettstown, NJ, Margaret Devlin-Stroud and husband William of Flanders, NJ, Heather Devlin-Ruhl and husband Judd of Blufton South Carolina, a son, Robert Devlin and his wife Marsha of Mt. Vernon, OH, a sister, Margaret Brown of Cresskill NJ and a brother, John Whelahan of Guilford, Connecticut. Lenore faced many difficult obstacles and challenges in her life and met them with strength and grace. Besides being an accomplished artist, she was a licensed real estate agent, quality control director for Avon and Director of the American Cancer Society in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was an avid gardener, tennis player, fashion icon and cook. First and Foremost though, Lee was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Her crowning achievement in life was her family and she cherished every moment with them. They were the highlight of her life. We will never forget her special Thanksgiving dinners and our Long Beach Island Vacations. Lenore will be dearly missed.
Due to the COVID virus and a concern for everyone’s well-being, a Memorial Service and Interment will be held privately for family members.
