George Syfor, age 80, of Oxford, NJ died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital – Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ.  George was born July 19, 1941 in Hackettstown, NJ to the late Minnie Syfor.  In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte and his daughter, Sarah.

He was employed by Emerson Quiet Cool, Dover, NJ as an Assembly Worker for many years before retiring.  George loved spending time with his family and helping them with projects that needed to be done.  He enjoyed going fishing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Engels and husband Dayson, his son Jesse Yurovchak and Fiancé Brandi, six grandchildren, Grace, Ashley, Shane, Owen, Angie and Jesse, Jr.
