Shirley Bakker Baldwin, 86, of Hackettstown NJ, died on Thursday October 28, 2021. Shirley
was born September 3, 1935 in Inwood, Iowa. She is the daughter of the late Samuel and
Gertrude (Dykstra) Bakker. Shirley worked many years in the banking industry and retired as
the assistant branch manager of First Fidelity Bank in Hackettstown.

Shirley was married to the late Ray F Baldwin, Sr. for 55 years before his passing on June 12,
2009. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she is survived by six children,
Ray (Michelle) Baldwin, Bushkill PA; Steve (Eileen) Baldwin, Hackettstown, NJ; Pam (Mike)
Snyder, Vienna, NJ; Lisa (David) Mullikin, Hackettstown, NJ; Kevin (Winnie) Baldwin, Cobleskill
NY; and Ron (Janet) Baldwin, Waverly, NY; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister
Cornelia “Katy” Groover, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson
Matthew Ryan Mullikin, two brothers, David and Raymond Bakker, and three sisters, Ann
Sharland, Tena Harriman, and Rena Gulick.

Visiting hours will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Cochran Funeral Home,
905 High Street in Hackettstown. The funeral services will also be held at the funeral home at
11am on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  Burial will be at Pequest Union Cemetery immediately after the service.  Those wishing to leave online condolences may do so at www.cochranfuneral.com

    Dear Baldwin Family
    My Wife Robin and are so saddened to read of Your Mom’s Passing, and will miss our conversations as we past her house on our weekly walks. I actually loved when she let me have it for stopping at Dunkin Donuts (Defeating the reason for walking) with a bag in my hand.
    We know our words will be of little comfort, but please know we have you all before our FATHER in Heaven, asking HE comfort You all as only HE can, Through Christ our LORD
