Ronald G. Barbossa, age 77, of Budd Lake, NJ died Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home in Budd Lake. Ronald was born February 27, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ. He is the son of the late Anthony and the late Marie (Di Pace) Barbossa.
He loved to golf and coach youth basketball (St. Jude’s CYO & Mount Olive Recreation). He enjoyed a good Seinfeld rerun and hated when NBA players missed “chippies”
He is survived by his wife: Janet (Zolusky) Barbossa, his children: Joseph Barbossa, Daniel & Erin (Reid) Barbossa, his sister: Marianne Cicchino, his brother: Charles & Eileen Barbossa, and his beloved grandchildren: Blaise & Nellie Barbossa.

I will always have fond memories of Mr. Barbossa from my days as an elementary school friend of Dan’s who often received impromptu coaching lessons from his dad during our driveway basketball games or a joke and a laugh when I would see him at Enzo’s. He was generous with his time and made everyone feel like family. Your family will be in my thoughts in this difficult time and I will always keep his kindness in my heart.
