Edmund L. Bisson, age 87, of Hackettstown died peacefully Monday, July 18, 2022 at Paragon Village with his family by his side.  Edmund was born September 8, 1934 in Somerville, NJ. He is son of the late Edmund and Alice (Durr) Bisson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cecilia Anne Bisson.

Edmund served proudly in the US Air Force for 4 years.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.  While attending school he met his beloved wife of 43 years, Cecelia.  They moved to New Jersey and Edmund went to work for Picatinny Arsenal as an Electrical Engineer for many years before retiring.  In addition, Edmund enjoyed gardening, watching his beloved Cornhuskers on TV and once a year attending a game in the fall with his son.  More recently he loved going out to dinner once a week with his children.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Linda, three devoted sons, Dennis and his wife Barbara, Douglas, Stephen and three grandchildren, Joey Lynn, Jody, Amy and his brother, Paul.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, from 6-9pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11 am, burial will follow in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown.
