Brady, Scott L. January 25, 1962 - February 26, 2023

Date of Funeral

March 5, 2023

Scott Lanier Brady, age 61, of Hope, NJ died Sunday, February 26th, 2023.

Scott is survived by his loving wife Karen (Pharo) Brady, and three sons; Michael (wife Amber), Ryan (wife Lauren), and Tom. A grandson Noah Brady, a granddaughter Noelle Brady and baby Brady who is due in March.  Scott is also survived by his brother David Brady (wife Lynn) and sisters Lori Brady, and Peggy Reumont. Also, many loved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Carlton Lanier Brady and Helen M Brady (Burton).

Scott grew up in Morris County. He met his wife Karen while working for a landscaping company in Hunterdon County. Karen and Scott had a deep and loving relationship where he never stopped affectionately grabbing her in the most inopportune moments.  He was a Field Service Technician at KPM Exceptional LLC in Landing NJ for almost thirty years where he was able to excel at his talents at fixing anything.

He loved and was exceptionally gifted in fixing things and caring for others. He also enjoyed mowing the lawn, working on and driving cars, and cracking jokes. His dry humor often left people scratching their heads and Karen saying – “He’s only joking!”.

Scott loved helping people and was always helping family and friends and attending his grandchildren’s activities. He was happiest spending time with his wife and family. He was in bowling leagues in the past and most recently played in two softball leagues with his sons and daughters-in-law. His dry sense of humor and giving nature will be missed.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown NJ 07840.  The viewing will take place at Cochran Funeral Home on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.  Friends and family members may share memories at 4:00pm.
