John Burns, age 94, of Budd Lake, NJ died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, NJ.  John was born September 29, 1929 in Glasgow, Scotland. He was the son of the late William and Robina (Hughes) Burns.  In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Burns and his sister, Margaret Hamilton.

John previously owned and operator the P and J Variety Store, Easton, PA as alongside his wife Isabell preceded him is death in 2011.  He was a proud member of the (RAF) Royal Airforce and a devoted and loving Poppy to his 2 adoring granddaughters.

John is survived by his devoted son, Raymond Burns and wife Catherine, his two cherished granddaughters, Caitlin Bellini and husband Andrew, Danielle Verbel and husband Bryan, a great grandson, Michael Bellini and nieces and nephews in Scotland.

All services were private and under the direction of the Cochran Funeral home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
