James Joseph Celfo, of Bayville, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the age of 89.

James was born on October 14, 1933 in the city of Newark, N.J. He was a graduate of Central High School in Newark and served as a soldier in The United States Army Air Defense Artillery from March 1957 and was honorably discharged in March of 1961. He retired from The A.D.T. Company, Newark N.J. where he was a Central Station Manager.

James is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years Amelia Celfo, his loving son Vincent and wife Sharon. He was also blessed with two grandchildren Nicholas Celfo and Christina Harding and husband William, along with two great grandchildren Rylee and William Harding. He is also survived by his brother Carmen Celfo and family.

James was predeceased by his parents Carmelo and Carmela Celfo and his brother Nicola Celfo.

A celebration of his life will be held in a private memorial for immediate family at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
