Lynn Marie Ciecwicz, loving Daughter, Sister and Aunt passed away peacefully on Thursday August 7, 2025, in Neptune, NJ. She was 66.
Lynn was born June 5, 1959, in Orange, NJ and attended school in Flanders, NJ. She graduated from Mount Olive High school and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY.
Her hard work led to her becoming a successful Equity and Fixed Income trader on Wall Street. She worked for Stifel Nicolaus & Co. but her greatest achievement was working for the prestigious Tudor Investment Corporation where the Chairman, Paul Tudor Jones described Lynn as someone who has worked closely with him since June of 1985 as one of his trading assistants. Her knowledge of the derivative and securities markets is comprehensive and insightful. Lynn was conversant with both accounting as well as the execution side of trading. She has handled the execution of virtually millions of futures contracts as well as reconciling transactions from an accounting standpoint.
Lynn’s greatest professional assets were her dependability and diligence. A good example was her coming to work the day after she had knee surgery and was on crutches. Despite an incredible commute, she arrived at work early and made the smooth operation of the desk her top priority. After many years with Tudor Investments, she returned from Boston, MA and worked at Fox Asset Management, an Eaton Vance Company, in Little Silver, NJ. She settled in Monmouth County, NJ, where she took up flying lessons, cherished her dogs Mimi and Lila, loved dining at the beaches, and boardwalk of the Jersey Shore.
Lynn was blessed with a wonderful family growing up, traveling to the mansions in Newport, Rhode Island and the Jersey Shore for family vacations.
Lynn is survived by her sister Susan and Husband Richard Gebel, West Long Branch, NJ her brother Steven and Wife Elaine, Great Meadows, NJ, her brother Robert and wife Maureen, Budd Lake, NJ. She was blessed with her beautiful nieces and nephews, Meredith and Husband Dave, Kristen, Erin and her fiancé Mario, Matthew and Wife Lauren, Jack, Aislyn and Emily, and her great-niece Maeve.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Joan and her precious niece Caroline.
A memorial service for Lynn will be on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9-11:00 am and burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ. 07840.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LADICAN Network, 1703 Kneeley Blvd, Asbury Park, NJ 07712, ladacin.org in Lynn’s memory where her niece Caroline attended.
