Jerry A. DeMeola, 59, of Johnsonburg, NJ died August 8, 2025 at the Lincoln Park Care Center in Lincoln Park, NJ Jerry was born in Newark, NJ a son of the late Jerry and Agnes “Nancy” Donnelly DeMeola.

Jerry had been a tri-axle truck driver for Willow Grove Trucking in Hackettstown before retiring,

Jerry was very science driven always interested in new scientific findings and ideas. He was also a master mechanic. His dog Mayhem was like his personal therapy dog who he adored.

He is survived by his wife Heather Cavall, his children, a step-son Connor, his brother Michael DeMeola and his wife Karen, his sisters, Laura LaTulipe and her husband Fred, Lisa Wilson and her husband Barry and Christina Dawson and her husband Ray. Also several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala Florida with entombment of his cremains at Highland Cemetery in Ocala Florida at a later date.
