James John DeSimone, age 54, of Hackettstown died Saturday, January 28, 2023 at home in Hackettstown. James was born May 14, 1968 in Passaic, NJ. He is the son of James M. and Milena (Fedel) DeSimone.
James was employed by All State Motors, Perth Amboy, NJ as their General Manager. James was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved “Batman” and Harley Davidson Motor Cycles. In addition Jim fought courageously against Colon Cancer for the past 6 years with the help and support of the dedicated staff of the Sloane Kettering Memorial Hospital, NY. Jim was a loving and compassionate Husband and father, was devoted to his family and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Madeline (Curcio) DeSimone, his loving son, Anthony DeSimone and companion Florentina Ukella and devoted daughter, Marisa DeSimone and husband Jared Olah; his brother, John “Johnny” DeSimone and wife Antonella and their children, Brandie and Dara, his sister, Milena DeSimone-Sillett and husband Dan and their children, Julianna and Matthew.
The funeral will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, February 2 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road County Route 517, Andover, NJ with Father Emerson officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1 from 4-8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FXCK Cancer Foundation at info@fcancerfoundation.org in memory of James.

I’ll always remember his patience and great attitude….and that great smile. Over the years, I didn’t see him often, but we bought several cars from him and he always treated us like family.
